I am a mother of two beautiful boys; one in my arms and one in my heart. I am a wife to a strong, sensitive, caring, loving husband. Who still also happens to be a normal human-being. We live a typical life in suburbia. We are both full time working parents. My husband is a physical therapist and I am a sales manager for a medical company. We are spiritually strong, but religiously disorganized. We are responsible, yet flexible in life. We are dependable and scattered all in the same breathe. We are a normal every day family.
We have walked many journeys in life but in the past three years the most intense and rewarding has been the journey of parenthood. With our first child, we have experienced having a 35 week “wimpy white boy” with severe colic and severe asthma. With our second son we experienced a club foot journey followed by the unrelated loss of his life. Through this blog I hope to remember our journey, connect with others, honor our children, honor our marriage, and inspire others.

My connection to you is through Harrison’s grandfather and grandmother Herold. I attended high school with Tony and all of his friends here in Ohio were saddened to hear of Harrison’s life suddenly ending. I can’t imagine the pain and grief you are going through but please know that people here in Ohio are thinking of you and hoping that your friends and family wrap their arms around you and give you some peace. Your blog will help me to do more random acts of kindness. May God bless you all and give you strength.

I learned about Harry while walking down a Toys R Us aisle in independence Missouri through someone else’s random act of kindness ❤ . I truly believe God works in mysterious ways. I have actually been running a toy drive on behalf of my job and received this gift card from a complete stranger that had no idea what I was doing in that aisle . Just wanted to let you know that your beautiful angel just made his contribution and I will continue to share the love .

I received a random act of kindness from you and your sweet family today. I have read your story and am so sad for your loss and also inspired by your courage. These random acts of kindness are so amazing and your son is smiling down at you everyday, proud to have a loving family doing good for others in his honor. Bless you and your family. You made my love for my family grow a little more today. I can’t wait to pay it forward!
